Mary Francis Januse, 82, of Bryan, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Magnified Health & Rehab of Anderson in College Station. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, December 11, at Hillier Funeral Home. A private entombment ceremony will be held at the Monsignor Gleissner Memorial Mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
Mary Francis was born to Frank and Mary Elbrich in Bryan, TX. Mary Francis was a laboratory technician for International Shoe Company and for Texas A&M University. She enjoyed spending time working and ranching on her property in Franklin. She enjoyed gardening and for many years would spend her vacation time with her family in Galveston. She liked cooking and baking especially for her grandchildren.
Mary Francis was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Frank Elbrich Jr., sisters, Ethel Zemanek and Margie Dileo, and recently by her husband of 63 years, Curly Januse.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Marq Hellman; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Carmen Januse, all of Bryan; grandchildren, Marq Hellman Jr. and wife, Melani, of San Angelo, Chris Hellman of Houston, Anda Patterson and husband, Greg, of Bryan, Niki Pratt of Bryan, Jeff Januse and wife, Amber, of Franklin, Jordan Januse and wife, Madison, of Bryan. Great grandchildren, Rosalyn and Chalon Pratt of Bryan, Parker and Sawyer Januse of Franklin, Katrina Rose Hellman of Trois-Rivieres, Canada, Caroline Hellman of Houston, along with many nieces and nephews. She is survived by a brother, John Elbrich and sister, Jodie Mikulin, of Bryan.
