Fojtik, Edith J. (Brinkmann)

Services for Mrs. Edith J. Brinkmann Fojtik, 81, of Caldwell are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Caldwell. The Rev. Emelian Foltyn, pastor, will officiate.

A rosary is scheduled for 8 p.m. today in the chapel of the Phillips and Lucky Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fojtik died Wednesday night in a Caldwell hospital. She was born Feb. 3, 1898 in Burleson County, where she lived most of her life. She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors included three sons, Emil J. Fojtik, of Round Rock, J.D. Fojtik of Houston, and Jimmy A. Fojtik of Austin, six daughters,Mrs. Calvin (Angelina) Morriss of Austin, Mrs Russell (Hattie) Graves of Austin, Mrs. Charles (Mary Ann) Barak of Ausitn, Mrs. Doc (Rosalee) Weatherford of Clovis, N.M., Mrs. Charles (Lydia) Luza of Bryan, and Mrs. J.T. (Grace) Rosenkrantz of Freeport.

Two brothers, Eugene Brinkman of Somerville and Ed Brinkman of Brazoria; three sisters, Mrs. Parrot of Caldwell, Mrs. Wilimenia Wilhelm of Houston, and Mrs. Viola Kaiser of Austin. 32 grandchildren, 31 great- great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
