Bublanina Recipe


1/2 cup-Splenda sugar blend or sugar
1/2 cup-Butter
1 cup-Flour
1/2 teaspoon-Cream of Tartar
1/2 teaspoon-Salt
Powdered Sugar (for sprinkling on top)
1/2 teaspoon-Orange Peel
1/2 cup-Mixed Berries

*You will need an 8×8 pan

  1. Cream the sugar and butter.
  2. Separate the egg whites from yolks. Beat both separately. Egg whites should be stiff.
  3. Add and blend beaten egg yolks to the mixture.
  4. Sift salt and flour together into a separate bowl.
  5. Alternate adding flour/salt mix and egg whites.
  6. Add Cream of Tartar and Orange Peel
  7. Place berries of your choice on top
  8. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of fruit and batter mix

Bake for 30 minutes on 400 degrees. This time can vary so keep an eye on your dessert. Take out and let it cool, then serve.
